Introducing Band & Group Workshops
At Beatbox, we are always looking for new ways to help our students grow as musicians, not just individually, but together! That is why we are excited to introduce our new band workshops, available from June this year.
Our band workshops will run regularly throughout the year, giving students the chance to step beyond their 1-1 lessons and experience what it’s like to play in a band with other musicians. These sessions are all about collaboration and learning how to listen, adapt and perform as a group.
Scheduled between our annual student showcases, the workshops provide a valuable opportunity for students to keep progressing and build their confidence as real-world musicians. Led by our talented team of Beatbox tutors, these sessions will often feature familiar faces, helping students feel comfortable while they develop their skills in a collaborative setting.
In case you didn’t already know… this year’s Beatbox Student Showcase is planned for Saturday 14th November 2026 at New Life Church and we’ll be making a start with organising students/performers and a setlist for the event organisation over the school summer break!
Band Rehearsal Space
We’re also excited to be creating and opening up a space that can be used and hired for band rehearsals from June 2026. We’re hoping to create the perfect environment and space for groups and bands to be able to get together and play.
We’re also looking forward to being able to utilise this space for our student concert rehearsals and workshops later this year! Our rehearsal space is here to support your journey as a band and help musicians to prepare for gigs, performances or even just a dedicated space to work on original material.
Availability for our band rehearsal space will be working around lesson times and the room will be available for booking:
Mondays (8pm - 11pm)
Tuesdays (8pm - 11pm)
Wednesdays (8pm - 11pm)
Thursdays (8pm - 11pm)
Fridays (8pm - 11pm)
Saturdays (5pm - 11pm)
Sundays (2pm - 11pm)
We look forward to hearing from groups/bands that might interested in using the space in from June 2026 onwards and you’re welcome to get in touch to find out more info or to arrange a time to view the space before booking your first session. Lesson referral scheme
Introducing our new 2-way lesson referrals!
That’s right… if you refer a someone for lessons with us we’ll give you both receive a free lesson!
All you need to do is ensure any new students/parents you recommend to us mention your name when booking in for lessons with us, you both receive a free lesson!

At Beatbox, we’re fortunate to have an amazing team of friendly and highly skilled tutors - and some of our tutors are very experienced with recording too!
In the near future we’re also planning on creating a new space that can be hired and used for recording services - so whether you’re interested in recording your own songs, covers or creating social media content. We’ll be able to support in offering a space that can be used for students, local musicians and also local businesses and organisations for podcasts, adverts, voiceovers, adverts and audiobooks!
We’re also planning on opening up new availability for our Mini Maestros Early Years music classes from September too!
